Salil Kader - Representing India!
Salil Kader (XIIth - 1993) has been nominated by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (US Dept of State) for the United States Institutes (formerly Fulbright American Studies Institutes)programme to be conducted at the University of California, Santa Barbara. The theme is Religious Pluralism!
This is a great achievement for Salil.
Every year the US Consulates/Embassy in India sends nominations to the US
Dept of State, where the name of one Indian participant is finalized.
Salil, Ph.D scholar at the University of Hyderabad has been selected this year.
We are sure he is going to add value and share his experiences, as an Indian living in a multi-cultural, multi-religious society, with participants of 17 other countries.
As part of the programme, he will be visiting some cities of the US. The
participants of last year's programme visited Salt Lake (Utah), Atlanta, Los
Angeles and Washington DC. It is possible that he might be visiting the same
places. So, if there is a Picketian living in these cities and wants to meet this School captains of ours from the 1993 batch, do shoot him an email.
Good Luck Salil. The K.V P Alumni Association wish you all the best.
